Joshie's Birthday Party w/ Family

Last night we had a little party for Joshie's birthday. Grandma and Grandpa came, along with Joshie's God-parents LeRoy and Elsie, and Mamaw came. We had Cincinnati chili, cake and, ice cream. Here are some pictures.

The lovely cake. It's spiderman and sandman.
Here's Josh blowing out his candles.

Here he is playing with one of his toys.

Moms Group

I got some pictures of the kids and Robyn at the Moms group we do on Tuesdays. We had one less kid today but it was still crazy. The two little boys that were there kept us busy. And the girls were better than last time. There is one girl that has no picture.

Here's Robyn with Jay Jay (one of the infants). The girl in front of him is his sister Kate.

Here are two of the infants Grace and Brady. Brady is my favorite.

Young Adult Small Group

This is my first Small Group I have ever been apart of and its a blast. The discussions are fun and we love to go on bunny tails. We talked about stress and about Mary and Martha. It is a great group and is an open group, so you could tell them anything they really won't judge you or try to hurt you through it.

When Needed Rain is Bad

Well the title pretty much says it all. Tonight I was supposed to go to a corn maze with my youth group but it rained. Last night my Youth Pastor broke the news that it had to be canceled. Everyone was upset and mad that we could not go. I woke up this morning and looked out the window and it was sunny. So my friends and I sang "Sun, Sun, Go Away". We want it to rain since it was already canceled. So now I am sitting at home wishing I could be at the corn maze.

Happy 45th and 8th Birthday Mommy and Joshie

We had a little party at my God-parents house for them. We really went over just to hang out with them since I haven't seen them in more than 5 months, but we decided to celebrate Joshies and my moms birthday while we were there. So there is the cake and it was good. As you can tell my mom is 8 and my bro is 45 (j/k), my dad made the cake that way.

Girl's Only

I have a weekly bible study with a few of the high school girls in my youth and we try to meet at least two times a month but it doesn't always work out that way, so I sometimes just go by myself. We have fun discussing all the topics and love going on bunny trails (if you know what I mean). We always meet right after youth at Kelly's (one of the youth leaders) home, so usually we don't get to sleep until 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning. This Friday I went by myself and had lots of fun. In the morning we went to a coffee house and had part of the discussion there. I have a picture of the beautiful fall leaves on the ground out side of the coffee house.

Co-op

Today we had Co-op and in co-op we had drama and debate. Whoopy, what fun. I used to love to go but now with not as many students and not many classes it kind of lost its fun. But Josh loves to climb the poles in the church. The only thing I like about the co-op is the little kids.

Mom's group

Today I worked at a moms group watching kids. We have about 6 kids that come in, 3 infants and 3 toddlers. The kids are a blast we never have much time to just sit and rest. When the infants get cranky we put them in one of the swings and that calms them down or pus them to sleep. Some times we have all 3 swings going with either a infant in or a toddler who feels jealous. I enjoy the fellowship I get with the other workers and the time I spend with the kids. I would have got some pictures but I forgot.

Missions Banquet @ Church

Last night we had a Missions Banquet at my church and everyone had to bring a dish that was from a different country. There were some crazy stuff there and I tried to try everything but that was impossible. Most of the stuff I tried I liked but not everything. Here are the pictures I took while I was there.

Here is my Pastor and his wife with Ellen and Joseph (the speakers and missionaries to the Dominican Republic).

Here's Robyn.

Here's my friend Jen.

I loved the deserts.

Two family's that came decorated their own table to go with their country.

The missionaries brought some stuff from the Dominican Republic. Here's a blow fish.

Here's a spider(I have my hand there to show you the size of it.)

Here's a beetle.

Scorpions.

Caleb and Ashleigh playing before its time to eat.

An over view of the people and the setup.

Crayfish and I had to eat one.

Here is the young kids of the youth group and Josh.

Teaching

Here are two pictures of Caleb and Joshua (my bros) doing a craft for school. I am teaching them English, Science, and History. In the pictures they both made a catapult out of Lego's. They both love to test my patience and also love to see me crack. It is fun and is definitely one of my future careers. For Science and History our neighbor comes down to join us. They are all in a different grade so its a little challenging but they all do pretty well.

Valley Forge Christian College

I went to Valley Forge Christian College for a college visit today. It was fun and very helpful. The Chapel service was great. They had the Couriers and they were really funny. In the middle of a one of the songs, one of them forgot the words, so the other guy stopped the song, backed it up, and started it were he left off. Almost the whole time they were on stage they told jokes. I loved it and can't wait to be a student there. The picture above is of me and Tiffany (who gave my mom, dad, and I the tour). She reminded me of my cousin Sarah in many different ways.

Missionette Sleepover

Here I am as a cowgirl at a Missionette Sleepover w/ my church. It was a blast and all the girls and sponsors had fun. We had a hay ride, roasted marshmallows, made a scare crow that won second place and played lots of games. It was a great time to get to know all the girls better and even some of the ladies.

e-mail address

My really e-mail address is nickytiger@verizon.net.

I got a blog

I thought with it being my senior year and soon going to college I would get a blogspot and start posting fun stuff that happen and post my thoughts for the coming years. And that way everyone I know can see how the Lord is moving in my life and so I could also look back and see what the Lord has done.
