Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!

Happy 2009 everyone.

A look back @ 2008

Because of the new year coming soon I thought it would be a great chance to just think and look back over my year and see what has happened.

January: I was accepted to VFCC. I also went a my last Winter Retreat with my youth group and as a student.

February: My last Sectional Fine Arts Festival in which I went on in my human video solo and large human video. I turned 18 and began what some called my adult life (hahahaha). And my family realized that we had some type of rodent living in the house and eating our food.

March: My youth group took just a few of us girls to VFCC for their Breakaway. My last District Fine Arts Festival which was very exciting because my large human video group found out that we were going on to Nationals. And there was Youth Convention which was amazing.

April: We had Girls of Purpose which happened to be the biggest one we have ever had in the few years we have been doing it. My youth group had went bowling and then had an al-nighter. My youth pastor broke the news to us all that he was leaving and moving to another church (very sad news).

May: The homeschool group that my family attends had their fine arts festival and robyn and i did a human video which wasn't the best but was fun. I got a job at a summer day camp and had to take CPR training. My best childhood friend graduated from Gettysburg Master's Commission so I went with her and her family to see the ceremony. A few friends and I did a prank on the youth pastor's car because it was his last Sunday. And we all had to say good-bye to my youth pastor.

June: I started my job as a counselor at the Summer Day Camp my township has. It was fun and a blast to work with the other counselors and kids. We got a new youth pastor who really connected with the youth. And I graduated from Pennsylvania Homeschoolers and had a wonderful service.

July: My cousin David got married and I had got to see all of my cousin's again. And I continued to work at the Summer Day Camp.

August: I finished working with the Summer Day Camp. My human video group went to Nationals but didn't place anywhere. My youth group had their first event with the new youth pastor. And I started to pack and get ready to make my big move to my new home and school.

September: I began my life at VFCC and made a bunch of new and dear friends. I got a new nickname (which is "Mother") that stuck and I don't think it is ever going to leave.

October: My roommate and I had trouble with our toilet and was clogged for a good week. I realized that I really couldn't stand the one girl at the school who at first was a friend of mine. I went to the school's Harvest Festival and also helped with my youth groups Harvest Festival which both were a bunch of fun.

November: Helped out with the Women's of Purpose Conference (which Kay Authur spoke at.) And at the same time as the conference my youth group had an al-nighter which I helped with (and wasn't a really smart idea to do, but i did it). I found out how bad I could procrastinate and how my body really reacts when I do. Had a wonderful thanksgiving break. And my family finally found the rodent that was in the house.

December: I finished my first Semester at VFCC and made it through my finals. My mom had her surgery on her arm. Had fun relaxing and hanging with my friends and family.

Wow there was alot of things that I forgot happened and alot I remember so well. God has been really good to me and my family. I can't wait to see what he has in store for the year 2009.

Christmas Songs

Robyn came up with a few Christmas songs that I think are pretty cute. Here are the two that she came up with. The first one is the first one she came up with and doesn't really go to a song but is pretty funny and cute. The second one does go to a song and I think is pretty good.

First Song:
12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS BUNNY STYLE
1 – Doe bunny
2 – Buck bunny
3 – 11 little bunnies
4 – 24 little bunnies
5 – 36 little bunnies
6 – 68 little bunnies
7 – 120 little bunnies
8 – 200 little bunnies
9 – 400 little bunnies
10 – 800 little bunnies
11 – 1200 little bunnies
12 – A BIG BIG cage
No more bunnies for me.
You can have them all for free.
Second Song:
The Bunnies 12 Days of Christmas
On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, a rabbit cage that was right for me.
On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, two buck and doe, and a rabbit cage that was right for me.
On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, three water jugs, two buck and doe, and a rabbit cage that was just right for me.
On the fourth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, four bales of hay, three water jugs, two buck and doe, and a cage that was right for me.
On the fifth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, five golden feeders, four bales of hay, three water jugs, two buck and doe, and a cage that was just right for me.
On the sixth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, six bags of feed, five golden feeders, four bales of hay, three water jugs, two buck and doe, and a cage that was just right for me.
On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, seven blocks for chewing, six bags of feed, five golden feeders, four bales of hay, three water jugs, two buck and doe, and a rabbit cage that was right for me.
On the eighth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, eight paws for clipping, seven blocks for chewing, six bags of feed, five golden feeders, four bales of hay, three water jugs, two buck and doe, and a cage that was right for me.
On the ninth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, nine toys for playing, eight paws for clipping, seven blocks for chewing, six bags of feed, five golden feeders, four bales of hay, three water jugs, two buck and doe, and a cage that was right fir me.
On the tenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, ten combs for brushing, nine toys for playing, eight paws for clipping, seven blocks for chewing, six bags of feed, five golden feeders, four bales of hay, three water jugs, two buck and doe, and a cage that was right for me.

On the eleventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, eleven pounds of fur, ten combs for brushing, eight paws for clipping, seven blocks for chewing, six bags of feed, five golden feeders, four bales of hay, three water jugs, two buck and doe, and a rabbit cage that was right for me.
On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, twelve bunnies hopping, eleven pounds of fur, ten combs for brushing, eight paws for clipping, seven blocks for chewing, six bags of feed, five golden feeders, four bales of hay, three water jugs, two buck and doe, and a rabbit cage that was right for me.
And all of the credit goes to my wonderful sister Robyn who wrote both of them.

All Alone

Everyone of my closest friends here at the school all left today for Christmas break. I can't believe that it is finally here. It feels weird that I am the only one of my friends still here and I am stuck here until tomorrow, because I have a final. Since they left I have called my mom and talked to her because I was bored and I really didn't know what to do with my time. After I got off the phone I went to dinner with a semi-close friend. Then I came back and went through all of my clothes figured out which ones I really don't wear and which ones I am going to take home and leave here. Going through my clothes made me realize that I have a lot of clothes I really never wear and some I forgot I had brought here. I really miss my dear dear friends so much and can't believe how close we have all gotten in just 3 months. In a way I can't wait to see them again in a few weeks.

Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Out so there is this one girl here that at first we were kinda friends then all of a sudden she started to really get on my nerves and begin to push my buttons. I don't know exactly where it started but I am thinking it started when she and I were twins for twin day here at VFCC. After that day she continued to call me twin and with this very kidish voice that drives me nuts. Then she found out that we both have the same middle name and are born two days apart which didn't help. So I asked her to stop calling me twin and it took her a long time to stop but she did then she started calling me hater. Oh oh oh now that gets on my nerves big time. I have never hated her, there are just a few things that I can't stand about her. And I have asked her to stop and have told that I don't hate her but she won't stop calling me that. I know she might feel like I hate her but I truly don't hate her. And what is really hard is that I try to keep an open mind and let her in but then she does something that drives me nuts and I usually kick her out of the room or stop talking to her. I think what really drives me nuts with her is that she wants attention and tries to get it but I won't let her have it because I know that she needs to learn how to deal with out it. It is just really hard right now for me to be dealing with her and with the end of the semester at the same time. Tonight she came in my room and asked if she could stay well I said that I was doing homework and Casey (my roommate) said the same thing. SO she said that she would be quite and just sit on her computer, so I said that was fine as long as she does not talk. Well she was not quite and kept talking so finally i got sick of it and told her to get out, because she was not being quite. Well she got mad at me and called me a hater again so I told her that she was not aloud in the room again. Well now looking back at it I probably should have not said that but it is what came out of my mouth and I don't have the time to fix it. So she probably totally thinks I hate her but I don't she just gets on my nerves alot. You guys probably didn't want to hear about this but I had to get it out before I explode, so I might be posting another post tomorrow to let you all know how my day went.

Christmas Is Coming

Yeah Christmas is almost here and I can't wait. I have always loved the Christmas time because of all the wonderful memories that come along with it. For me Christmas is filled with laughter, love, family, and friends. I always love watching any Christmas movie, especially the old cartoon ones. One tradition my family has that started when I was younger is on Christmas eve we watch "It's a Wonderful Life" either on TV or with a DVD, then right before we go to bed everyone gets to open one present. I love all the time my family gets to spend together, and its even better when my extended family can come and join us for any holiday. It is really nice that my Mamaw can come up and join us for the day or two. I always look forward to any holiday because it means that my family is going to spend wonderful and precious time together. I always love getting presents for my friends and family disadvantage this year I don't have much money to spend on friends and family but I am going to try my best to use my money sparingly. I wish everyone has a wonderful Christmas Season and a happy one. Love you all.

HORRAY!!!!!!!!!!

So I only have a week of class left in this semester and then a week of Finals (Yuck!). I can't believe that I am almost done my first semester as a college student, it only feels like I came here to live yesterday. So many things have happened and have changed, and I feel like a different person. I can't remember what it was like worrying about college and how it was going to be but now I know and it is amazing. All of my classes were great and all of my professors were so wonderful and kind. God is so good for bringing me through this wonderful experience and I am glad that I have 4 more years of growing here to finish up, but I am just so glad that I have made it this far and God was there with me. I also want to thank anyone who was praying for me in this scary, new, and important time in my life. I truly felt your prayers from day to day. It will be nice to have 3 weeks off before coming back. It will hopefully be a time of refreshing and relaxation. Thank you God for keeping me safe and healthy through this experience and I pray that you will continue to keep me safe as I continue my education here. And thank you to everyone who has supported me. I know I am not quite done with the semester but I can still say thank you.
