Sarah & John had a beautiful wedding and I am so happy for them. The wedding was like a family and Egyptian reunion for me because I saw family members and a bunch of people I know from Egypt. I missed them all and was very happy to see them again. Here are just a few of the pictures I got. Hope you enjoy them.

Last night I had a Christmas party with a whole bunch of friends. At first no one showed up then almost at once everyone started pouring in. We played Now-You-Have-It-Now-You-Don't and How Many Are There? I know many of them had a blast and I know I did. Here are just a few pictures.

Here's a few of the people.

Christmas decorations

We finally got our tree up on Sunday during the ice storm. The tree is a little bare because we didn't put on all the ornaments. We also finished a few other decorations around the house. I am so happy that everything is decorated, I thought that it would be Christmas before we finally got things up.

Here's our tree with presents underneath.

Here's the stockings hanging on a wall because we can't get to our fireplace.

Here's my dad's tree it has Garfield and Curious George ornaments.

Here's what we put in our dinning room. It's a nativity scene that my papaw had.
Here's on top of our piano. As you can tell it is stuffed with a bunch of different stuff.

Here's the inside of our door.

Here's the outside of the door.

ACT's

Today I took the ACT's @ a local high school. I do not know what my score is yet but I will know within a month. I feel like I didn't do well and will have to take it again. But we will all find out soon.

I will say God answers prays even ones that seem strange. Last night I prayed that God would have someone I know taking the test in the same room as me. And He did, it was a girl I know when I was in 8th grade. It made me feel a whole lot better knowing someone then being with complete strangers. When I took the SAT's there were a whole lot more people then with the ACT's and I did not know anyone.

Once I have the scores I will tell you all how I did.

Youth Christmas Party

Yesterday was the Youth Christmas Party @ the Pastor's house. We played a few games such as; foosball, 4 on a couch, and know-you-have-it-know-you-don't. Then after those games we asked Pastor Eric to leave for a little bit, so we could get ready for the last and final game. The game is called "The 12 Days of Christmas", what you do is have some one like your Youth Pastor (thats what we did) sit in the middle of a tarp (so you don't get anything on the floor) and sing the song. But instead of the real song change the words to food and as everyone sings the verse have that food poured on the person in the middle of the tarp. Here is what we had.

On The 12 Days of Christmas Our Youth Group Gives To You

1 Squirt of Apple Syrup
2 Cups of Pudding
3 Sliced Pears
4 Sticks of Butter Melted
5 Scrambled Eggs
6 Cups of Flour
7 Diced Strawberries
8 Spoons Vanilla
9 Crushed Graham Crackers
10 Cups of Sugar
11 Cups of Corn Flakes
12 Cans of Cool Whip

It was a blast and we got Pastor Eric good. He had everything all over him. At the end we had 12 people do the cans of cool whip and he was covered. Robyn had the camera going the whole time and got everything even trying to get him up stairs she he could change and take a shower. I had a good time and I hope everyone else who was there had a good time as well. I was not able to take pictures and I am so sorry. I wish I did so you could see Pastor Eric after all the food was on him.

Youth Group

Tonight at youth we played a game with a pair of socks(its almost like monkey in the middle). It was very interesting and fun. For the game everyone (but one player) has to sit in a circle and one person starts with the sock then you throw it to another person that is not next to you. While the sock is being thrown around the person who is not sitting in the circle has to either tag the person with the sock or catch the sock. If the person in the middle tags the person with the sock he/she is know in the middle or if the person in the middle catches the sock the last person to touch the sock is in the middle. It was fun to play because the sock would go over everyones head and everyone near the sock would try to get it.

In the sermon Pastor Eric talked about how the generations before us started giving Christianity a bad name and almost give up on trying to change the way people view Christians. And how our generation has to stand up and bring Christ back into the world before it is to late. He also said that if we don't do something soon the Muslims will take over the united states and band Christians from having a place to worship. He told us a story of what he did to the youth group he worked with during the summer and how he showed them what it may be like if we don't do something now. He told them that it was 2030 and that they burnt down the church and now they have to go somewhere else and worship there. They blind folded everyone (so that way there would be no traitor that might find out were they are hiding) and took them to the youth pastors basement which they made up to look like a run down basement. Then they had there little meeting and near the end they had some men dress up as soldiers and act like they belonged to the army of Muslim United States. They came down and asked everyone who was leading them and one of the teens told them that Pastor Eric was the leader and they went over to him, asked him who he was, pushed him down to the grown, then shot him in the head with a paint ball gun. I felt like I was there while he told the story. It really opened my eyes at how things may change in a few years if we don't stand up and really reach out to everyone.

I just felt like I had to share that with everyone who reads it and I pray God leads us all to change the world and turn peoples hearts to Him. I didn't think to take any pictures of the game but I promise to take pictures next time my youth group gets together. To let everyone know the weather is planning to snow on Sunday. I really want the snow but I also want to go to church on Sunday. So I pray it isn't to bad that we can still make it to church.

Video of Youth Pillow

This is a video of the pillow fight we had on Saturday. There is a moment where everyone attacks our Youth Pastor. It is just fun to watch. Hope you enjoy it.

Thanksgiving Dinner @ Church

After church this morning they had a thanksgiving meal for everyone who was there. During Pastors preaching Pastor Eric and I smelt the food and it was killing us. And luckily my table was the first table to get food. The food was as good as it smelled. When everyone was done eating Pastor named off some of the people how work in the church and then showed a slideshow of pictures of people working. I love when my church has fellowship.

Heres a few people at my table

Movie Night w/ Youth

Saturday night we watched Transformers at a leaders home. We watched the movie on Clearplay (which is a DVD player that filters the DVD) and it was good. During the movie I was really tired so I tired to fall asleep but the movie was to loud and some of the teens wouldn't let me. When the movie was over we just talked til I started a pillow fight and then it got wild. I just hit the one leader in the face and then that is what started it. There were moments when we had to tell them to settle down and watch the lights. It was fun and a great time with everyone.

You can tell by how the camera looks that the fuzz was everywhere.

Everyone was getting hit.

Even Pastor Eric.

Well Friday it was go here, go there, all day. The day started out with everyone going to co-op for the first session. We left and went to the Harrisburg Symphony Young Persons Concert in the city of Harrisburg. Next, we went to Wildwood Park to take pictures for Christmas. I was home for only an hour to pack then off to McDonald's for supper. Next we went to Youth Group. After Youth, Robyn and I went to a friends house in Mt. Joy. So I was everywhere. And now I am feeling the effects of it.

Here are a few pictures of the game we played at Youth.

As you can tell we are playing Human Pretzel or Knot.

Last Friday Mom's Group for the Fall

Today was the last day for the fall and the kids were just getting used to us. We only had four out of the six because one family couldn't come, so we had two infants and two toddlers. They were all great till have way in when the youngest girl was tired but wouldn't fall asleep. So she cried for 30mins. until I layed her down on her blanket and she finally fell asleep and slept until her mom came. Here are the pictures I took of the kids.

Here's Jay Jay.

Here's Anna, Alana, and Robyn. Anna is one of the helpers.

Bonfire with youth

I was just @ a bonfire with my youth group and it was a blast. We played games, ate hotdogs (I ate 4, because I didn't have any lunch) and s'mores, and sang a few songs. It was a great time getting to know Pastor Eric (Youth Pastor) better. And for those who do not know he is our new Youth Pastor, he came in the middle of Sept.. For games we played dragon and red rover, then we sang the best we could or what we remembered. Then for the final thing we had a trust game where everyone (except the leaders) had to be blind folded. While blind folded we had to hold the person in front of us, then the person in front had to listen to Pastor Eric's voice and lead everyone where he was taking us. It was fun and a good way to get to know your leaders. When that was over we cleaned up and went home. I will post the pictures I took as soon as I can.

Mothers group fridays

Today Robyn and I went to a mothers group to help them with the kids and on the way there we saw florries, but it wasn't cold enough for it to lay. Usually I work in the nursury but Robyn took my spot and I helped out in the preschool room. The kids were so funny and had a little trouble understanding why there were two new helpers in the room. But everything went well. Near the end we put in a movie and the kids were so quiet. I would have loved to put pictures on but I forgot to get pictures and there was also not much time to just sit and breath until the movie was in.

Women of Purpose

This morning I went to a Women of Purpose conference with my church. It was a blast. The speaker was great and talked about the connection between mothers and daughters and grandmothers. She also said that the young girls are the new generation that will bring God to the people of the world. It was a fun time and I can't wait till next year.

Last night we had a little party for Joshie's birthday. Grandma and Grandpa came, along with Joshie's God-parents LeRoy and Elsie, and Mamaw came. We had Cincinnati chili, cake and, ice cream. Here are some pictures.

Moms Group

I got some pictures of the kids and Robyn at the Moms group we do on Tuesdays. We had one less kid today but it was still crazy. The two little boys that were there kept us busy. And the girls were better than last time. There is one girl that has no picture.

Here's Robyn with Jay Jay (one of the infants). The girl in front of him is his sister Kate.

Here are two of the infants Grace and Brady. Brady is my favorite.

Young Adult Small Group

This is my first Small Group I have ever been apart of and its a blast. The discussions are fun and we love to go on bunny tails. We talked about stress and about Mary and Martha. It is a great group and is an open group, so you could tell them anything they really won't judge you or try to hurt you through it.

When Needed Rain is Bad

Well the title pretty much says it all. Tonight I was supposed to go to a corn maze with my youth group but it rained. Last night my Youth Pastor broke the news that it had to be canceled. Everyone was upset and mad that we could not go. I woke up this morning and looked out the window and it was sunny. So my friends and I sang "Sun, Sun, Go Away". We want it to rain since it was already canceled. So now I am sitting at home wishing I could be at the corn maze.

Happy 45th and 8th Birthday Mommy and Joshie

We had a little party at my God-parents house for them. We really went over just to hang out with them since I haven't seen them in more than 5 months, but we decided to celebrate Joshies and my moms birthday while we were there. So there is the cake and it was good. As you can tell my mom is 8 and my bro is 45 (j/k), my dad made the cake that way.

Girl's Only

I have a weekly bible study with a few of the high school girls in my youth and we try to meet at least two times a month but it doesn't always work out that way, so I sometimes just go by myself. We have fun discussing all the topics and love going on bunny trails (if you know what I mean). We always meet right after youth at Kelly's (one of the youth leaders) home, so usually we don't get to sleep until 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning. This Friday I went by myself and had lots of fun. In the morning we went to a coffee house and had part of the discussion there. I have a picture of the beautiful fall leaves on the ground out side of the coffee house.

Co-op

Today we had Co-op and in co-op we had drama and debate. Whoopy, what fun. I used to love to go but now with not as many students and not many classes it kind of lost its fun. But Josh loves to climb the poles in the church. The only thing I like about the co-op is the little kids.

Mom's group

Today I worked at a moms group watching kids. We have about 6 kids that come in, 3 infants and 3 toddlers. The kids are a blast we never have much time to just sit and rest. When the infants get cranky we put them in one of the swings and that calms them down or pus them to sleep. Some times we have all 3 swings going with either a infant in or a toddler who feels jealous. I enjoy the fellowship I get with the other workers and the time I spend with the kids. I would have got some pictures but I forgot.

Missions Banquet @ Church

Last night we had a Missions Banquet at my church and everyone had to bring a dish that was from a different country. There were some crazy stuff there and I tried to try everything but that was impossible. Most of the stuff I tried I liked but not everything. Here are the pictures I took while I was there.

Here is my Pastor and his wife with Ellen and Joseph (the speakers and missionaries to the Dominican Republic).

Here's Robyn.

Here's my friend Jen.

I loved the deserts.

Two family's that came decorated their own table to go with their country.
